How many of you are attached to your car?

I just couldn't sell it to someone else, it would also hurt to see it get crushed in a scrapyard etc. I've only had it 3 years but its been like a second home. I've been everywhere in it, eaten in it, had sex in it, slept in it, I'd hate to see it go. Kind of like an emotional attachment?
My partner on the otherhand doesn't mind at all getting rid of her car she has done the last 130k miles in. No attachment whatsoever.
Is it just me?

I am but mostly because it owes me far more than it`s worth!

My BMW E36 323 convertible.
Brought it for a holiday to the south of France when we had 2 kids.
Expected to sell it shortly afterwards but still have it 5 years later.
We have 3 kids now so it my toy and its staying.
Off the road at the moment but will be ready for next summer as its only brakes and touching up that needs to be done.
Wife wants it gone.

Absolutely, nearly 15 years with the Vixen and trying to sell it various times over the years, now I just couldn't let anybody else have it.
It's not been plain sailing over the years and there is still a lot to do (in for a lot of this over the winter), but there's nothing like jumping in on a Saturday morning and hearing it purr along into town. I also know if it was sold, I just wouldn't get another, and I'd regret that.

On a more suprising note my 1.0 Brown Suzuki Alto I bought as a winter snotter 2 years ago is turning into a keeper, I recently got it out for the winter season but as I live 3 miles from work its economic properties aren't needed so I was going to sell it but whats the point,its worth f
