Is it a mobile service you're after?

Lots of guys at my work use them and are happy. For mobile fitting where it suits you and on price they seem spot on.

Used them for many years. Never had a problem. Always do things properly, torque wrench to tighten nuts and so on. Fit at home or at work, well priced..

I used them a couple of months ago and was very impressed with the service - they were more or less the cheapest as well and I checked with all the main players.

sounds all good so far..

just stumbled across them whilst looking for new tyres for the work van, saves me going to the local tyre place and standing around waiting...

Very good service . I was not with the car but the fitter kept me informed throughout the process

Excellent service - and the fitter always phones ahead to confirm times etc.

Used them a couple of times because the price is right and it means I don't have to leave work - just nip out to the car park.

I also like the fact that I can watch them work without appearing petty - I'm stood by the car anyway.

I've used them a few times - mostly good, although had a spotty youth do it and I swear he damaged the MX-5 sills by jacking on them...

Always use mobile places now, either event or e-tyres.

Agree with all of this. Spot on every time including balancing BMW wheels which other fitters usually make a complete dogs dinner of.... 10/10 for Event from me.

I've had dozens of tyres from Event now, and honestly can't fault them.

Prices consistently as cheap as anywhere else, fitters are careful and friendly. Balancing always 100%. Online stock list is not exhaustive, if there's something specific they can usually source it too.

Plus you can sit and drink coffee at home or carry on working while they get on with their job, and pay with chip and pin at the end.

Your thread title might be confusing.

Event Tyre Company - generally good
Event Tyres - generally bad

My dad has used them and was pleased. The guy who came to fit the tyres was a PH member apparently!

Well this is a very good thread for them as I have just called and booked with them new tyres for Tuesday! Seem polite and efficient on the phone.

I've used them 4 times now. They're pretty good. I had to the guy back once as the balance was off a bit, and last set on my BMW he slightly scratched my alloy but to be fair my Mrs had mullered them all anyway.

Used them several times, usually fit within 24 hours of order, excellent communication re. arrival time. Highly recommended.
