The 2012 Ford Puma

Reading an article on the MINI coupe, it struck me that this car could be unloved when new, but a bit of a driver's car when/if it's available for a lot less.

I doubt it will be as amusing to drive as the Puma (no mini, S, old or new has for me yet) but what car would you say is closest to the Ford Puma in terms of an affordable, great to drive car?

The Fiesta that it's based on? The magazines are always saying how great the Fiesta handles, and I owned one for a year and really liked the steering feel of it.

EDIT: I should add I'm talking about the new Fiesta, not the old one.

That looks awful like a ford focus grafted onto a renault wind.

The front looks way too big for the rest of the car.
