Anybody here chauffeur or do car hire?

I'll start by saying is that its my Girlfriends birthday next May and I have booked a local (berkshire) venue to hold the party and would like to have me and her driven to the event in style, its a special birthday hence why i want a driver - I have contacted several limo hire companies etc to receive quotes on things like bentleys and rolls royce's etc but they're in excess of £500!! this seems a little excessive considering we will only require a small amount of driving and 2 passengers being taken. We will only probably cover 25 miles there and back lol) So my question is, would/does anybody want to drive us? or know of any people/companies that would? I ask here as have realised that several people here have luxury cars.

I ideally only really need a car for 2 and would like a bentley, rolls, Ferrari? etc or anything luxury etc
(i will stress i do not want to drive the car myself)

It might only be 25 minutes, but if it's a weekend in May, it's likely they have to turn down a wedding to drive for those 25 minutes. £500 it is, then.

I fully appreciate that, that's why i asked if anybody with a decent car fairly local would like to do it for a bit of cash - becuase obviously im enquiring with pros etc, it was more to see if anybod could help me out with a favour for 25 mins etc, Cheers

It doesn't, it takes an hour for a man, just over an hour for a female - Maybe I cant afford it?

thats why i asked for someone local - im not execting for someone to come from miles away.

Dates ? Location ? Time of day needed ? Type of car ? For example you mention Ferrari but that would be for 3 people including the driver - back seats in sports cars are not large.

It may be only "10 minutes" journey but I'm assuming the driver isn't living at the venue or next to your house? So he will have to travel to yours and then back again.
Also, it's never 10 minutes as you will inevitably be late whilst you faff about with your hair.

So the car will have to be cleaned as it's their reputation at stake and "We only went just down the road and they couldn't be bothered to wash the car" isn't going to go down well, so that means man hours and stuff and extra costs.

If it was a mate, or a PH'er, it'd be different as its not their prime source of income. I'm sure these people wouldn't normally own these sorts of cars.

Lastly. "girlfriend". Really?

ETA. I'd charge minimum of £250 for an E class.
