New owner botched up V5C

I sold my car last night, but the new owner has made a pigs ear of the 'New Keeper' section on the V5C certificate. He's put the wrong postcode in, has ineligible handwriting for the rest of the address and put his company name where the first/surname should go.

Can I include a separate sheet of paper with the correct details, or do I need to order a replacement V5?

DVLA have a way of finding you! I've seen some V5's with absolutely shocking hand writing and they still find their way to the rightful keeper. I've even seen someone put the wrong name, number and postcode on and it STILL found its way to them, although it took a little longer. If you're concerned, I'd add a bit of paper with the legible details on, just don't staple or paper clip it to the V5 - that really seems to p*ss them off.

If you gave him a receipt for the car it should have his name address and signatures on it, include a copy with the v5.
