Just browsing the classifieds and wowser what has happened to the price of these? Last time I looked they were toppy at £80k now way over £100k, one is even at £170k..

Seems a bit mad to me for what was one of the poorest reviewed cars at the time. Sure they are exclusive/limited but what's driving the market these are going the way of proper classic values.

Noticed this also after I was inspired by the modern elegant cars thread.

I remember when they had a period of being 60kish. Now they are easily commanding over and above the original RRP!

Some frankly ridiculous prices of >100k as well.

Bloody lovely car though. Would be the first car I'd buy on winning the lottery. Shame about only being LHD.

Cheaper in Europe and more to choose from, also in the USA. The UK prices are mad, driven by Hexagon who bought a few and are now trying to unload them at a vast profit. A great car with some modifications, not great as a standard car.

I guess it's rare and there seems to be an awful lot of people out there who think anything with a BMW badge on it must be fantastic.

I remember back in 2003 where I worked then couldn't shift a perfect low miles example at £59,995. . . it was a stunning car.

Never seen the values of these go down in the last 5 years.
