Airbag Warning Light - MOT!

I had an AIRBAG warning symbol on my dash a year ago prior to the new MOT rules being implemented, so it passed the test. That was sorted but now the warning light has come on again, presumably for a different issue!

I should be able to reset it via my vagcom s/w & box of tricks, but would rather keep it 'live' to remind me to get it resolved prior to sale.

Question is, i believe there was a stay of execution on these MOT changes. Have they now been implemented, so will the dash warning now be an automatic fail?

At the moment it's a pass and advise. That is due to change, not quite sure when.
