Of all the famous and heroic people on this rock, Alex Zanardi is the one I'd like most as a dinner guest. He is often spoken of as "inspirational" and "heroic" but it's his smile-at-all-costs attitude that I like most. He's someone for whom the journey is more important than the end. I love that.
