Discussion
Just been over on S2ki and stumbled upon this thread...
http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/900145-s2000guns/
in a nutshell the thread is discussing advice on where best to stash a legally carried handgun in an S2000!??
No disrespect to the US but when you compare the forum with the UK counterpart - most people are talking about removing the airbox lid, or invidia exhausts etc.
Nothing new here and I'm not saying anything is right or wrong but just puts some things into perspective and its not everyday that this type of thread comes up in the UK!

It's a nation where law-abiding citizens aren't denied the right to own a gun if they choose.
A law-abiding citizen would have no use for a gun. Surely to even threaten to use one on another person would be against the law?
I can see no benefit for anyone (bar those who want to go round killing people) to legalise guns.
Yes but what if someone is threatening you with a gun and you only have harsh words to retaliate with... - (and so the cycle continues)
Surely to even threaten to use one on another person would be against the law?

This - some on the thread have mentioned why they "place" it in the boot, under the seat or strap it to the underside of the steering column. I just find it quite alarming that they feel the need to have a gun so readily available.
I'd imagine if you leave an expensive killing toy lying on the passenger seat of your S2K, it won't be long before you come back to it and find someone has made a sunroof on your car, and legged it with your gun.

If the weapon is being carried legally, why would you need to "stash" it anywhere?
Surely you could just have it sat next to you on the passenger seat.
I think these guys leave their guns in their cars.Surely you could just have it sat next to you on the passenger seat.

+1 Unless he's trolling, the OP needs to open his eyes to the rest of the world. I would like to bring my TVR over to the USA but it's illegal primarily due to emissions. But I can drive it to my hearts content in the UK polluting the air and killing people that way instead.

Colorado laws allow you to carry a gun at all times. They also have the lowest crime rate of any state I believe.....
What do they all need to carry guns for if crime is so low
