GT86 - would you hire one for a weekend?

As per the title, would you hire a GT86, bugger off for a weekend via some Welsh B roads, or maybe Exmoor, Dartmoor etc, and enjoy the car for what it appears to do best?

Baring in mind the things this car seems to excel in are plain and simple fun driving.......

Hiring cars for fun is (for me at least) about driving something too impractical or expensive to own, I don't put the GT86 in that class as a 4 seater hard top with lots of reliability.

Something like an Ariel Atom or Caterham maybe, but certainly not a GT86.

I'd go for a 3.5 2.0 Sport Tech roadster convertible with folding hard top. Probably pick up a Vat qualifying one for under 12k hammer.
