Looking for a pick up type vehicle such as a Nissan Navara, that I can fit a full pallet into.

I dont want to spend much, actually as little as possible, it will just be used to carry pallets or carry rubbish/trees/grass/cardboard etc. Thats it.

Can anyone suggest anything please? Im only using AT as i find the new PH classifieds frustrating, so I can only search for "4x4" but simply dont know which models are pickups.

I know I could use a van but id like to be able to load straight from a delivery truck with a back ramp into the load area of the pickup.

Many thanks.

A Transit. In fact that might take two.

Having thought this over it would be cheaper to hook up a trailer to my car and put the pallet on that.

Only im not sure if trailers can take a pallet?

I am not travelling far at all literally <1mile.

Possible?

Use Autotader vans and select pick-up as the body type.

Of course some trailers can take a pallet - some can take about 30.

There are different sized trailers AND different sized pallets.

Whatever you get, ensure the vehicle can carry the weight of the pallet.

I'm the opposite - currently using a Mitsubishi L200 but we only use lightly loaded pallets, so don't particularly need the load capacity or 4x4. Lease is up next May, and could easily get a small van, but I'd rather some kind of estate car which can take a pallet with the seats down, and which has a flat, wide load bay level with the back bumper - things which seem not to be a consideration with most estates these days...

I use a Ram 1500 and that takes a full size pallet(not euro) with a ton weight on it.

Ok, still looking. Now things have changed slightly.

I need to be able to use it to DELIVER a pallet with a range of like 200 miles.

So I need something pretty decent. Budget £10k. good mpg preferred so no silly ideas like 5.0 v10 dodge's wink

Thanks

pretty much any pickup will fit a standard sized pallet in the bed. We do it all the time at the farm.

You can even get one with drop sides for easy fork-lift access.
