what to buy now?

hi everyone, yesterday i sold my fd rx7, fun over the summer but not something i want sat there over the winter not being used
now im stuck unsure what to get next, im after something that is worthy of a sunday afternoon on brecon but has a few comforts aswell
in the past ive had a clio 182-rx7-mk2 mx5-s2000-another rx7
i do miss the roof down aspect of the mx5 and the honda and another s2k is high on the list as well as a 350z after driving one recently and had great fun. also e36 m3 wether thats in my price range is debatable. same applies for the 350
what else is out there and worth considering in 4500-5000 budget?
i would like to build myself a turbo mk1 mx5 after driving a few they are just soo much fun, and i do love driving turbo cars, but the inevitable loss when i come to sell it creeps up.
im thinking when i finish uni during the summer of next year i will probably be commuting where ever i end up working......hopefully
any input appreciated!

I've just bought a 350Z Roadster and I love it. I see it almost like a usable, reliable, reasonable to run but slower TVR Griffith. Mine has an induction kit and exhaust and it sounds absolutely fantastic and puts a big grin on my face every time I drive it. The handling is pretty good for something weighing 1600kg too (and I've come from lots of fairly light cars).
It just does everything well, its a good comfy cruiser when you want it to be but a total hooligan when you're in the mood.
