How to respond to an arrogant BMW driver

On the way to work today in our chartered bus - a 28 seater Dennis. We'd almost reached our destination and were on the final section, which is 5 miles over a narrow, twisty road. It's narrow, but not single track as there is room for two vehicles to pass.

We came across a new 5-series BMW coming the same way - in the middle of the road. He stopped. We stopped. Nothing happened for a minute. Then BMW driver gets out of his car, storms up to the bus and shouts at the driver "I got here first. You will have to reverse. I have right of way - I drive a BMW"

To which the bus driver responded instantly "I have right of way. I drive a big fk off bus"

Guess who reversed and pulled over............

I didn't know Welsh Beef was a bus driver.

I've had that conversation with someone before while driving a tri-axle coach, he refused to go back so I told him i'm quite happy to wait here all day as i'm being paid. I closed my window and got a book out, sat there for about 5 minutes until he and the cars behind him relented

Reminds me of the stirling moss story, Stirling after having an altercation with a bus, the bus driver gets out and shouts " haven't you got any f**** Brains" to which Stirling retorts " yes, that's why I am driving the Aston( it may have been a jag can't remeber ) and your driving the bus "
