Mitsubishi Shogun Mk1 SWB

Me and my dad have had an idea of getting a grand worth of 4x4 and doing some offroading in it. Getting a rollcage and snorkel etc..

Does anyone know if you can get a rollcage for a mk1 Shogun? The Short wheel base one.

And would this be a good starter off road car?

Id look at Suzuki SJs. They are very popular with people beginning off roading. They are dirt cheap and parts are plentiful.

Hmm nothing close to us SJ wise.. The shogun is only 20miles away and seems to my untrained eye to have all the right stuff. Short wheel base with short overhangs and spartan enough to fit a rollcage/bar.
