Firstly, sorry if this has been posted before!
I've been fascinated for the last hour or so reading about the history of SLRs, and I started reading about the concept of a modern SLR (announced in 1999, before the production SLR McLaren) which I knew about before and I'm sure you all do, but personally I have never looked in to it in detail apart from look at pictures. A couple here:
Then I found images of replica build of one in Poland which looked like a great effort. Apparently it took 2 years straight to build and included a lot of custom made parts and cost a lot of money! It would also appear the owner has since been offered more money than he put in to it too (Don't quote me on that though!).
Anyway, I found the whole thing really interesting so I thought I'd share:
