Pipe dream engine swaps

Having watched John Sleath's 6.6 litre Duramax diesel produce 1100hp on YouTube, I started scanning EBay for a suitable diesel to drop in a rolling shell I have. I've just come across a 1000 cubic inch (16-litre) twin turbo diesel for 5k plus VAT. It'll probably never rev past 3000rpm, but think of the torque. A bit mad, but that's what pipe dreams are about.

So what engine conversion itch do you need to scratch?
