How about just not having this piece of expensive vanity plastic? Mine didn't have it, I don't recall those who did being any better looking or faster.

Charming.

OP: you might have some luck tracking one down on a model specific forum.

I'm not here to be charming. He asked a question, I gave my opinion.

The nerds as www.renaultsport.co.uk might be better placed to offer sycophantic nonsense about how an expensive bit of black K-Tec plastic will improve your already fine steed.

Try the dealer sales section on www.renaultsport.co.uk. £200 sounds fairly reasonable to me though.

hey thanks for that, dont want to take it off as it would mean removing all of the kit and thats abit pointless. the parts for this car are stupidly rare as i have already had issues getting front ball joints for it ended up having it whole hub unit shipped from france, so you can imagine how difficult sourcing a plastic bumper spoiler is? im stting myself if a wind screen blade busts!!!!

You don't have to remove the wheel to get to the bulbs. Yes its a utter ball-ache to replace a bulb but if you remain calm its a 30min job. (I own a 197 that likes to blow its bulbs on both sides at once)

Nope. I'm pretty normal on the size and fingers front, you can remove some of the plastics inside the engine bay to give greater access. Ok, its still very fiddly but can be done without issue. The passenger side is the mere side so I tend to start on the drivers side.

i am abit confused? the passenger side headlight is not accesable unless you remove the battery? as theres a tin tiny gap but not enough to slip ur hand down and manouver. and i aint removing the battery for obvious reasons? just curious, talk me through it

I have shovel like hands and can change the bulbs without removing battery.

You need to remove some of the trims but its doable.
