Will the Motorshow ever return?

[wildcat45]

Has the Motorshow it had its day?

From what I gather, the last one was cancelled.

I loved them, only going to 2 in 1991 and '98, but I had an uncle who went to them with work, so always got the brochures etc.

There was a special, exciting atmosphere at the NEC. Even as an adult it seemed so big, full of wonderful shiny metal.

Other countries still have motorshows.

Will they ever return?

I do hope so but doubt it sadly.

Trade shows generally are on their @rses.

In the industry I work in we've gone from 6 per year to 2 over the last 3 years.

Mind you, I went to geneva this year and it was rammed. I bet the classic show will be at the nec next week too. Looking forward to that.
