We are looking to buy an Astra van for work and have seen two which are the same price (3.5k )
1.3 cdti both on 08 plates, the first one is Silver with a few scratches and is on 107k miles and the other is yellow but with 72k on it and less scratches.
Whichever van we get will be sign written and will be used to take sample books to customers houses as well as sometimes popping a roll of carpet or vinyl on the roof, which would you go for?

So high miles and a bland colour, or lower miles and a distinctive colour?... For a company van... Let me think...

Go for the yellow one! Would look different, and I bet it could look fantastic sign written.

Yellow one. Distinctive can't be a bad thing, whereas a silver one is sleep

You can't blame the missus, she's been conditioned to think silver, black, grey, or, God forbid, white is the best colour for any vehicle.

Years ago I looked at a 8 year old Mk2 Astra, blue with 72k, and a 9 year old one with 104k in silver. 13 years later and up to 213k I still have the silver one!

In short, buy the one that drives the best and the one you 'gel' with. I reckon anyway.

I'd rather have the yellow one regardless of mileage. Distinctive is good. smile
