Came across this in the local news this morning. Hope the car is quickly recovered, but if it's a professional job you would think there's a strong chance it'll already be in another country :-(

The car which is similar to those seen in James Bond films was taken form a secure unit at Henfield Business Park, Westerleigh, Bristol, between September 29 and October 11. Appeals so far have failed to locate the car.

Hmm.

Did you post this in the hope, or inspite of the 007 tomfoolery that will entail?

Seems like a good idea to post this in here to me. If it isn't a stolen to order job and the car is still in the country somewhere you would think that whoever has stolen it will try to sell it at some point and that people who are enthusiastic about cars might be the sort of people either in the market for a DB5 or in the know about where one might be quietly offered for sale.

No, of course, post to raise awareness! I was joking, in anticipation of posts along the lines of what would happen if the police tried to pursue, etc.

I think I've possibly got Bond on the Brain though afger the weekend hehe

I recon Mr Bond may have borrowed it whilst he pays a Mr Abu Qatada a visit. I'm sure it will be duelly returned very soon.

I always wonder how something like that can be moved on. A BMW or Merc can be sent to Africa or Albania. A classic Aston?
