So, the 370z is up for sale and I am after a new toy, 5k budget (6k max for something special)

Only requirement is it must have 5 doors OR a dog shaped boot!

Oh and I'm 6'7 so needs no point suggesting an MX5

So far my favorate contenders are:

A 4.0l v8 pimped off road disco2

Or an M5

Over to you!

I wouldn't buy an E39 M5 for £5k or less.

£5k E39 says heyzues!!! You'd have big balls to take that on. Silverstone is a great colour though - or Imola!!!

bkss get the M5

None of these things sound very weekendy. How big is the dog?

ETA: Well except the Disco in the OP, which looks suitably silly.

I know but I can't think of anything :-(

I do love that disco, can't see any like that for sale at the moment so may buy a standard one and do it myself!

Yeah, moneypit, definitely.

Buy a 4k M3, much cheaper whistle

A *tidy* E36 M3? (If you can find one that's still cared for...)

Mine's tidy, but the bloody thing has still cost me the purchase price again in the 9 months I've owned it. Think the OP does not want anyway!

Well, he did say not sensible. wink

You're a credit to E36 owners. But you're also the excpetion- there are a lot more rough ones than nice ones, I thought? (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

Cant really have an E36 M3 as the coupe has no boot or back seats and the saloon is just wrong!

Not sure it's fair to shut a dog in the boot of the M5. The Disco looks fun, would be my choice, or a Defender or maybe a Jeep or some Yank 4x4.

laugh wouldn't put the dog in the boot, hence 5 doors OR a boot,

Would get a back seat cover and it would go in the back!

Are all S4's twin turbo?

Yep, it's definitely true. Almost all of them look shiny in the ads but hide immense bork...a lot of the guys on the m3 forum have the right idea but even then the odd Angel Eye creeps in... It's all about the 100% standard look to have any credibility!
