Hi I'm looking for a new car preferably diesel with good mpg. Looking for around 2008 or newer with a 6k budget.

Any recommendations would be helpful, cheers.

There are 199 cars 2008 or newer with 50mpg+ diesel engines on sale for between £5k and £6k on PH

There's nothing wrong with any of the mainstream diesel hatches from VW, Ford, Skoda, Kia, Hyundia, etc..
Its all down to personal preference.

Just because this is PH...this TVR is within budget, the extra £500 of your budget can go towards fuel...
