In 1946 Donald Healey to the new Elliott and Westland for a blat down the new autoroute, 106mph. The club are considering going through there in 2013 or 2014 on the way to Holland, I wondered if anyone knew if there was any chance of being allowed a reasonably traffic free re-creation of the event.

I've heard that the Italians are keen on such stuff, I think UK there would be no hope, anyone know what Belgium's like

No contacts I'm afraid, but the service station staff are very honest, managed to leave my wallet there on the way back from the 'ring a few years ago. A call the following day confirmed that they had it and I collected it a few days later, complete with the cash still in it on the way out to Spa the following week. A little faith in humanity was restored
