Only 2 owners and recently bought from a storeage yard where it has been hiding since 2003
Who would let one of these slip away?

Could be a bargain but I don't follow, in one sentence it says there's a huge file but in black bold it says there's no paperwork for the car but a receipt will be given?

I love these although it sounds a bit inconsistent. by the sounds of it has 200k on the clock but been in storage since 1999 and comes with no paperwork (very big letters at the bottom) although he says he has a thick folder with all receipts.

He also said be purchased it off a farmer so has one previous owner and then someone else has commented that he knew another previous owner who was part of the owners club. confused

lovely car but too fishy for me

This gives something to work with, a good useable car with a big margin to invest and reap the benefits.

Slightly off topic, what would be the point of mounting the radiator half way up the engine bay with the engine along side it?

'Packaging', the engine is so far forwards in the bay unless the car is made longer it's the only option. It still does what it should.

Is it not just that they've bought the car from the previous owner, who wrote the ad in non-bold? They then simply copied his ad and added their bold bit at the end.

The S2 went a step further with two rads:

one on the left and one under the slam panel.

One of Audi's bad habits back then. They liked to hang the engine as far forward as possible over the front axle which is why they usually understeered like shopping trolleys.

Not much use without it. I remember seeing a Tresser convertible quattro at Goodwood a long time ago - a very odd looking car, a one-off I believe.

Tripe.

I concur with the nodding off at the beginning, when I scrolled down to reveal the HUGE text though that woke me up pretty sharpish.
