15% off all car batteries at ECP

[RP1]

Had my battery explode a couple of days ago

Was plesantly surprised today to find that Eurocarparts currently have 15% off all batteries when you order/reserve online (you can still pay in store though).

Thought I'd mention it as it made it cheaper than with my halfords trade card which is usually a pretty good discount.

It was £87 for a Bosch 096 S5, though I haven't collected it yet and am debating whether or not to change it for an S4 which would be £70 - not inconsiderably cheaper... Anyone know the real world difference, the S5 has more starting power and an extra years warranty, thats about all I can see.

Cool story bro... etc. but useful if anyone else's has given up the ghost in the miserable weather!

Used this deal last week on an S4 battery for a Bora V5 after it died a terrible death.

Check the measurements though when you use the number plate checker as I actually had to order a 3-Series battery on their system - same fitment, but the Bosch models it suggested were different dimensions. Now need to go and buy another battery as my Mk2 Golf's has gone just a week later.

Stupid weather... Good deal though!

[BFG TERRANO]

Used this deal for my terrano battery a couple of weeks ago. Can't fault it. Nowhere else could beat the price of £75, delivered in 48hrs, 4 year guarantee and very well boxed up.
