Should I look outside the Eurobox ???

Went a test drove the new A3 at the weekend and was pretty as expected, nicely finished and plesent to drive.

The thing is I'm in the market for a new daily driver, A3/ Golf size, and have only ever gone for a eurobox. If I were to look outside this Eurobox, what decent family hatches are on the market right now.

The Kia Pro-ceed looks half decent for the money?? The far east motor companys are coming up with some very nice designs at the moment.
