Deep water yes, but more like 12-16 inches judging by the fact it never covered all the rim on the coupe.

I drove through similar in my old MR2 mk2 as I knew the induction kit fitted was about shoulder height behind me, the bow wave was coming off the windscreen no issues. smile

My friend takes his Disco 3 through water so deep it sloshes over the bonnet - no snorkel.
