Is climate control standard on a MK5 Golf GTI?

The one I'm looking at seems to have manual aircon. All the rest ticks the right boxes but I found it odd as all the other cars seem to have climate control!

I think it comes with a Semi-Auto air con system if i remember correctly, but for all in intensive purposes it's bog standard air con. I think it was a upgrade option for Climate Control.

All MK5 Golf GTIs of UK spec had dual zone climate control. It's a digital display.

That is 'Climatic', semi automatic in the sense that it controls the temperature but not the direction or intensity of air.

The car you're looking at is an import! Also, just for future reference full electric seats were never a UK option.

Is there anything 'wrong' with an import? Why import a car like a vw gti when UK dealers could supply you with one?

Also check insurance isn't anymore than a UK spec, and while I might be wrong you might want to check that it had the same undersealing as a UK car to prevent rust. I think some Mk 5 Gti's were imported from Cyprus.
