I've found £3000-4000 down the back of the sofa.

So, a convertible. I like big cars. Big engines. Originality. Don't care whatsoever about fuel or insurance costs.

In my garage, I've got mileage and GT covered with the F10. 4x4, loadspace and mechanical tinkering covered with the 2.6 6 cylinder 109 series 2a. Hooning covered with the E90 330.

Ideally, next car would be a Bristol or Tatra but that's going to take another 5 or 10 years to get the right one.

This time of year, howling gales and pouring winter rains, I want a convertible bargain.

A Z3 seems a tad boring, small even. An American beast would be fun, but not a plasticky affair.

May I ask for creative PH suggestions please?

Oh yes. I like PH creativity. You've even captured my "P&J seller" desire. I'll research whilst awaiting more ideas.

Now a TVR didn't occur for this money. Interesting...
