Ferrari F430 replica
Discussion
Probably been discussed already, but if not...

Not my words, but...
"Let’s just examine the blurb or a moment:
“……based on a Peugeot 406 Coupe….stunning example of the real car….based on an actual Ferrari F430.”
Well that’s cleareed up what it actually is then.
“The front windows are made from 6mm thick lexan polycarbonate and have been custom-made to fit. Because of the arc of the windows they have been fixed in place, but someone with a mechanically minded friend will always be able to make them go up and down.”
Nice in summer. Excellent when accessing pay on foot car parks. Wonder if the A/C works?
“The windscreen is the same as the original donor, which is made from toughened glass.”
Retro fitted from 1976?
“Lowering springs have also been added to give the car the correct ride height.”
For a Land Rover?
A quad-look exhaust system has been fitted to the car to give ity that authentic look and sounds amazing like the real deal when at the right revs.
Because the only reasin a 2.0 four pot doesn’t sound like a narrow angle V8 is an extra silencer or two.
“The battery is located in the footwell of the passenger side, but there has been a battery tray installed in the rear on the boot should you wish to relocate it.”
There’s nothing I like more than the risk of an acid spill on my carpets.
“Due to the value of the car, I will accept a bank transfer of funds to pay or cheque or cash, providing the money is paid into the bank account on the day of collection. The buyer can collect the car once the funds have been successfully transferred. This is to protect both the seller and the buyer."
Given that it’s worth about £1.50 I’d have thought payment in stamps would have been more appropriate”
This car will be sadly missed as it has given me great times. Viewings are always welcome, and please contact me if you have any questions.
Why is the question that comes immediately to mind. Why take a very pretty, fairly practical, but dynamically unremarkable coupe and turn it into that? Having done that, why cover it in sticky-backed plastic?"

Wrapped it himself - as practice for wrapping his sandwiches, I think.

Well, it's handmade with canyons for shutlines, so it harks back to the olden days of Ferrari
.That really is a mess.
