Hi everyone,

Need to work out how to separate the wire from that cuboid/rectangular block they currently go into. See pic:

It's a wire from a motorbike indicator. The new indicator wire ends with two gold sort of circular gold bits which I think go into this plastic block that slots right into the power socket.

Cheers!

Use a pin/needle to release the locking tangs holding the wire in the plastic connector.

Thanks DuraAce. In the meantime, I tried to see if it would work by plugging the other end of that wire (can't see it in pic) into the new indicator unit and that's worked! So went ahead with that, though this is good to know for next time.

Now my new problem:

The screws/bolts that hold the indicator and fairing in won't screw back in - they just drop out and don't seem to be screwing into the threads.

When I took them off there was some grease applied to the washer but not all have washers and not all have grease. Do I need anything to reattach them/what am I doing wrong?
