What did I see - Merc with D badge?

[325Ti]

hopefully somebody can help

i forgot to take a picture im afraid

saw it in Dublin yesterday

a 12 plate e class merc - looked like a 350CDI

but the boot badge want the usual Merc 3 point star - it was a capital D

have looked online but cant find anything

anybody know what it was?

[Chicane-UK]

Sure it wasn't actually a 'B' for Brabus?

[FamilyDub]

'D' for Daimler, perhaps?

[325Ti]

actually it looks similar to the D for Daimler

although why would a 2012 Merc have a Daimler badge? do they offer modifications for these?

[Fubar1977]

Yep, almost certainly Daimler.
