is it just me, or are the lights badly positioned on the juke.
do the headlights seem to be a tad high up?
and the front fogs, why so big, and why do so many feel the need to use them most of the time.
i guess front fogs in general have been done to death on here, but it does seem really bad this time of year.
so many people seem to have them on all the time, on perfectly clear, well lit stretches of road and its just as many truck drivers doing it as cars.

I suspect that what you think are headlights are actually sidelights and what you think are fog lights are, in fact, headlights.

I'm not sure he is, the one I hired this summer had the sidelights in the 'normal' position and the headlights halfway up the bonnet.

This.

Those great big round lights on the Juke are headlamps, not fogs.

Agree with the OP to a degree, there is a lot going on with them Nissan Jokes. Despite being a god awful car to look at (my opinion of course) but the light situation seems to exagerate what other cars do.

Where as the people who buy bland looking blobs on wheels (Golf, Focus, Astra, etc etc etc) are evidently also blind or slightly deranged wink

so according to others, the big round ones in the pic, are the headlights. hmm, bloody stupid looking car full stop. the last time i disliked a vehicle this much, was when the multipla came out.

This. It's just about the only regular car that looks any different at the moment?!

bmw frown
e34 m5 smilewas my last car.

don't get me wrong, only my opinion, and when you live in my house you find out it doesn't count for much.
the juke and multipla are just shapes i don't like, if i had my way i'd have a f40 or mk5 cortina.

I like the Juke, cant help it, it has that "Runt of the Litter" thing going for it, I can see it beign a decent little car for a lot of people, should cope with poor roads, snow, car parks, be economical and lets be honest, most cars in its class are just tedious looking, they cant make something that size and tall look elegant, so they went daft and at least it is weird all the way around, Vaauxall seem to spend too much effort on making their cars look sporty and nobody really buys them for that, might as well just go weird, seems to work for Nissan.

Alas, i wish it were true. We got one as we had to get rid of the mini and change cars for the wife as she was 7 months pregnant, the isofix seat turned up and rendered the front sear of the mini suitable for midgets only.

Rushed into leasing one as a short term fix - its the 1.6 DIG-T (180bhp Turbo) - its awful. The interior is so so so hard to touch, it rattles, marks easily and feels very low rent, even in Tekna spec (ours has Nav, Leather, Camera the works

truthfully there is bugger all room, and the boot is only a decent size if you take the floor out (theres no spare wheel - which incidentally, means that if you get a puncture, as we did last week, there isnt a jack or wheel brace to get the fking wheel off!!)

AND, it has ZERO traction in anything but 2nd gear and above, although doesnt roll too much, it torque steers and hops about if pushed on a B road.

God knows what the Nismo one will be like, i wouldnt touch it with your barge pole...

I too like the Juke; the front end looks like it's from an 80's sci-fi movie, like some kind of planet-roving buggy; mindue I also think the same of the X6. Both cars that I utterly despised when they first came out; love them now.

One of those cars that actually makes me think "good on ya Nissan" rather than just jacking up one of their hatchbacks to make a similar type of car.

I'm another who likes the Juke's styling (never been in one) - at least it's interesting. Ugly is a much lesser crime than dull.

ETA: As it happens, I love the styling of the mk1 Multipla too. smile

Sorry but that sounds like you are hating it simply because you bought the wrong vehicle for your needs.

7 months pregnant hardly means you had a rush to buy a vehicle.
