Car tax ran out yesterday.

Can I SORN today or will they still want December's tax now?

No point me SORNing today if I have to pay all of December's now anyway.

In the land of opinion
If you SORN today, today is the first day of tax or SORN
Theres nothing stopping you going to the PO and taxing today so why should you not be able to SORN today too
Tomorrow would have been a different story.
If you go online you cant preSORN anyway
So say if Tuesday last week youd have tried to SORN from today they wouldnt have let you. SORN would have begun from Tuesday last week (unless theyve recently changed the syatem)
So I'd go online declare SORN from today - keeps everything tidy
Any other takers?

Good.
Maybe they have changed it - or does it work to whole months?
Perhaps it's going on line on the 10th to SORN from the 20th (due to expired insurance) that doesnt work?
