The only lane is left
Discussion
..at roundabouts... Apologies if this is a repost, search is down. The latest thing in Herts/Essex is taking the left lane for all exits. Wtf is going on? Even if there are 3 exits, the s'tards still cruise round the outside and get stroppy when you exit in front of them. I'm talking Harlow and basildon! Have they no idea?

It's not just a problem where you are, I have the same issue at a large roundabout just up the road from me (Pirnhall roundabout Stirling) I've seen, daily, people going round the left lane for at least 4 exits and sometimes 5 or 6 which to me is just criminal! FRA53R said:

Yep - pirnhall is bad for that. Also the speed some people carry round there is crazy.AMST09 said:
One in hatfield, juncton 4 of the A1, people always do it, then start gesturing when you beep them for being an idiot, I may only be half your age but I can obviously read the road better than you
Last time I used that roundabout I watched someone do the opposite. They were in lane 3 on the A414 stopped at the traffic lights yet wanting to be in lane 1 for the first exit. The big problem here is councils keep painting the roads on traffic islands, in a bid to cut congestion.
On a lot of these you are completely out of position, compared to what us older folk were taught, if you abide by the road markings.
Then you come across one without the paint, and folk don't know what to do.
Just my thoughts anyway, as I see it a lot, in all areas.
