Asking on behalf of a friend...

He's coming out of the current company car scheme which includes car insurance and petrol card.
Next car.....they will only provide the vehicle , you insure and fill it up with fuel yourself smile

He is looking to purchase a new Mazda CX-5 for the wife and child.
She will be doing approx 10,000 miles per year.
He will then take over her Audi A3 and use that for the commute - approx 30,000 miles per year.

Would a multicar policy be ok in this situation ? I'm not sure how they work either (I've only ever had one car at a time in this country).

He's worried that as he won't be the main driver on both cars this isn't the way to insure both cars.
Any pointers as to who to go to for insurance on both vehicles....

He is early 30's , she is late 20's (at a guess...)

Cheer,
Nick

He will be the main driver of the Audi, does not matter who owns it. He will also need class 1 business use as a minimum, more cover if carrying company goods other than personal effects such as laptop and phone.
