RWD is fine. Only drama Queens moan about it. Although ones fitted with an LSD are far better in the snow than ones without.

What's wrong with rwd in winter?

If you're that worried stick some winter tyres on. You'll be far better in any potential snow than those who bought an audi thinking they're amazing in the snow, even on summer tyres.

Rwd winter tyres will be better than fwd or 4wd on summer tyres, generally.

I wouldn't say generally, judging by the margin of superiority winter tyres have over summer tyres on all the comparative tests I've seen, I'd say they'll be better without exception. On snow of course wink

My S2000 a few years ago was great in the snow on Uniroyal Rainsports. Got up plenty of hills other cars couldn't even though they are not winter tyres.

Now have a volvo 940 since. Fitted with normal yokohama tyres. Never had a problem. Don't see what all the fuss is about!

Only the most highly skilled and trained of drivers can handle RWD

Recent research at the local pub has shown that all RWD cars have 3000Bhp and unless you know exactly how start then the entire car explodes and kills you. Should you manage to start the car without it exploding only the highest priest who have sworn and oath to the god clarkson and have carried out the proper ritual sacrifice of a caravan can get to the shops and back without dying.

I personally think that RWD is so dangerous it should be banned unless you have sat a special test.

Oy maybe the amount of total bks that surrounds RWD is getting boring

"God Clarkson"? That post makes it sound like you are Clarkson.

Yip, but most of it seems to come from you so I don't know why you're complaining about it wink

At least you didn't post yet another picture of a Ssanyong this time though.

Picked up a 320d yesterday.

I hate the way that PH assumes that anything with RWD can only ever be used between March-October, otherwise the world will explode.
