removing oil and grime

With my latest car came the interior pieces needed to retrofit a 7 seat interior.
the trim pieces have been used and abused, and have some significant oily marks.
I've tried steaming them with a household steamer and it's helped, but needs a bit of extra umph.
Any suggestions would be welcome!
