Last mass produced car with no computer gubbins
Discussion
Out of interest - what was the last mass produced car, sold in the UK that didn't have any computers doing things to keep the engine running/augment the safety or quality of the actual driving of the car?
I don't mean circuitry to run the dashboard display or ancillary items, I mean ECUs which control anything steering/suspension/engine/emissions related?
My thought was something quite late with a carburettor, 1.2 Vauxhall Nova perhaps?
Anything else later than that?

I'm pretty sure that there have been cars with carbs and a cat.
IIRC (Which I might not, it was a while ago) my MK2 Astra 1.3 was carb fed and fitted with a catalytic converter.Dave^ said:

Have a look under the centre seat...
