Kia Sorento sliding when parked.

Parked my Sorento on the drive this evening only to be met with a rather loud crash few seconds later,the damn thing had slid in the snow, the handbrake was on and it was left in reverse, it did the same last year, puzzled!

Not sure if serious

If you are serious then the weight is causing the snow to compact meaning that the car slides. The same happened to my uncle the other year. His Golf slid into the RAC van who had only minutes earlier solved a fault he was having

How steep is your drive? This may be the answer.

Perhaps your handbrake needs adjusting.
