An I correct in thinking the interval for a Mk1 2004 Focus 1600 petrol is 10 years or 100,000 miles?

Thanks smile

I have a gut feeling that Ford may have revised that interval. Best to check, seems quite long.

Pretty sure it's still 10yr/100K, they always were better at this lark than VW smile

If anyone knows differently please post up, mine's at 7 years now and unless I hear differently I've no intention of changing it before the 10 year mark...

Service schedule book is missing though the history book is there. I'll try and find out. I know it's a completely different car and engine but my brothers 2006 1.25 Fiesta is 10 years 100,000. Was thinking they'd be the same.

I think the interval has been brought down to 8 years/100k miles.

The important thing to note is you must have the full timing belt kit including tensioners/pulleys, as it is one of these pulleys that fails rather than the belt itself.
