Every Sunday I drop my little girl into Sunday Language school on the outskirts of Cambridge. This week was no exception, and like every preceding week, I venture into the mayhem that is the Haverhill retail park. It's stupidly busy at the best of times so finding parking is tricky at best. Once I eventually found a space to back into, I start reversing and an idiot just screams into the bay - I have to anchor on to avoid hitting him him. He then leaps out gives me the middle finger and runs off!!

After a lengthy wait, I eventually mange to get a coffee and duly set off back to collect my daughter. Ahead I notice a middle aged lady stepping onto a zebra crossing - the cars ahead just speed up and whizz in front of her completely ignoring her. Of course, being the polite and courteous sort I stop and nod to acknowledge her. She continue to cross the road glaring at me the whole time mouthing the word T-W-A-T...

Sometime I wonder why I even bother........

Seems odd she felt the need to spell it out.

She's from Haverhill, I'd be surprised if she could spell it.

I'm glad it's not just exclusive to my part of the world.

A few weeks ago, I let a group of pedestrians cross at a Zebra crossing. The driver behind me decided to overtake .... the pedestrians had to STOP on the zebra crossing, as the impatient bh blasted through!

It's only going to get worse. This is the ME ME ME generation

I've found if you treat people nicely and with respect, they tend to do the same. Cannot remember the last time I got into an argument.

Nope quite clearly directed at me for stopping. Maybe I should have flattened her toes anyway...

It's the south, I've spent the last 2 years working in the south east during the week and then back home up t'north at the weekend and I've come to the conclusion that you have issues down there.
