How not to sell a car

Ive been in touch with the seller of a Mazda 323f locally with intention of buying it as a winter hack.
Advert is on ebay.
Seller asked when I would like to view and I could view anytime., so I said Thursday (last week), and sent my phone number.
Then no reply to say where he lived. so I presumed he had sold it.
Come yesterday, I noticed its still for sale so contacted him again explaining I wanted to view the car and was waiting for a reply with his address. His reply "You can view anytime"
I give up.
Anyone else had this?
