Automotive things to do before you die?

I was having a chat with one of my friends earlier about having an automotive wishlist of things to do before you die. I had things like:

- Go to Le Mans 24

- Go to see the start of the Gumball 3000

- Go and watch the Mille Miglia

- Go out in a Veyron

I was wondering if anybody else has a small wishlist of automotive things to do before they die. If so, what are they?

Own a both kinds of V8, a V10, a Ferrari, a Caterham, a TVR, a proper muscle car and an Elise. Do the double-ton, do a race, visit both Le Mans, Bathurst and Bonneville.

A trip I've always wanted to do in my Riley, the drive from the northern cape of Norway down to Gibraltar. I can't think of anything else I haven't done that I'd like to.

Mine's pretty short and easy.

1) Do a drift course
2) Own another GTV (Alfetta range)

Drive an F40 (had a ride in one but......)

Mine is drive / be driven in a Ferrari F40 & do a track day at the Nurburgring.

Drive a 500+BHP car.

Do a dirt/gravel rally stage.

Roll a car.

I could probably get all three done in a minute or two.

Well: I was born in West Derbyshire, but since it has been called Derbyshire Dales I havent been able to afford to go back!

Ive been very blessed an lucky to have done most of mine! I only have a few left

- Drive an AC Cobra (or rep)
- Pilot a Konnigseeg (sp)
- Learn to Rally drive properly

Im not sure that Id choose a 944, despite driving one every day! Id drive to the Arctic circle in Summer in one and Id drive over the North Africa in one, but through Africa was mental, and it was that well prepped either, from memory.

I believe that the fellow, who is a PH member, has done quite a few adventure rallies since with better prepared cars.
