As per the title really, what fails/advisories have you had on your car which are a bit stupid?

On Saturday with my MG ZR - Advisory for uprated front bushes! - bit of a suprise to find out the car had had a full set of Polybush front bushes installed by a previous owner!

Had a Pug 206cc (Wifes) fail for indicators not being yellow / orange enough. Also failed on exhaust, pads and discs.

The strange thing was they had all been done in the last 12 months and less than 3k miles.

Strange, as I had used the garage for years then the owner retired and it was bought by a motor factor across the road - suddenly lots more failures all needing parts from the factors.

The guy who owned the garage was agreat guy and was looking forward to retirement. He died a few months after sad loss, I knew him well, he was a proper mechanic and miss taking my cars to him.

Now take all my motors to the local community transport company.
