Which vacuum oil extractor?
Discussion
Been looking to get one of these, and finally have enough to get one.
The Pela 6000 seems to be the best at the cheaper end £38ish. I'd prefer the cylinder ones which can be bigger but cant justify the extra cost, circa £60+del for 6.5L over the smaller 6L unless anyone knows of any good offers.
Going to use it to change the oil and also suck out the coolant as well.

I know this doesn't answer your question and you have probably already considered it, but in my opinion you can't beat the 'flushing' effect of draining the systems from the bottom, oil and coolant. You may be surprised how much sludge the coolant circuit accumilates.
I plan on flushing the radiator through backwards and possibly other parts, but having an angled drive, cat, undertray and it being a 20 yr old car , i dont want a huge mess, especially as i don't have a 9L container for it to drain into, so this is a much cleaner way to do it.Aren't there case studies showing changing the oil using a pump is just as good as draining it as long as the oil is warmed through and the filter is changed at the same time?
Completely agree on the coolant though. Loads of sludge in mine when I inadvertantly drained it into a bin liner in the passenger footwell...
