Its a fail if they notice it, how big is the split and how much superglue and dirt do you have?

They are very hot on CV boots, best getting it changed.
I suppose it is down to if it fails you lose drive and get stranded but to be honest, unless I am missing something it sounds like an outside possibility.
Edit: Actually it seems like it is only the outer ones they worry about due to the grease escaping onto the brakes, inner ones are an advisory.
