I've received the OBD2 Bluetooth receiver today. I've paired it with my Android phone via the 'Torque' app and thought I'd share the interface.

I'm very impressed with the app's flexibility and scope to change parameters.

Not bad for £13 all in.

The update speed depends on a couple of things. The adaptor you are using can make a difference, but the speed that the ECU reads the data and how many items you are monitoring also is important.

On a Mk3 MX-5, it updates pretty fast. The app says around 20 updates per second using a cheap ELM-327 from Amazon. Using the same adaptor on my brothers Honda Accord gives only about 5 updates per second.

Edit: Here is an example using the track recorder plugin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_DPtD1lGt4

Got this on my tablet, adaptor was £12 off amazon, works brilliantly. Use it to download the endless stream of fault codes that comes from owning VAG garbage and occasionally to display cool looking but ultimately useless stats biggrin
