I need to read other people's tales of woe, after my own today.

A couple of lost screwdriver attachements, a snapped stud in the EGR valve (because i tried to put the stud from the engine cover in the hole... fkwit) and a broken fuel return pipe leading to £20 being dumped all over the road in the space of 10 miles means I am currently feeling very down and pissed off and have fled to the safety of a family member who owns a garage. And the end of it all, the original job still wasn't even done and i get very very fked off. I was lucky the car didnt catch fire though.

So, make me feel slightly less depressed and give me some of your stories of vehicle self destruction biggrinwobble

Nothing as of yet but I suspect I'm going to have a scrap with a rusty manifold bolt soon and have to fork out for another manifold...

Putting spark plug cover/thing on. If you have a williams you'll know the insert with F7R is rare so use bit of carbon fibre i cut up instead, bolting it down, forget to put both in, just wanna start car up see if new leads work, awful awful tapping. One of the bolts had fell onto the alternator cable and been driven into the belt, that was a sod to replace, felt like such a muppet.

Almost lost it on a greasy roundabout. Ended with a cracked bumper and deformed wing.

When this [fron diff] breaks/seizes

This [front prop UJ] breaks

Which flails around a bit and smashes up this [bellhousing]

which does this [clutch] not a lot of good either

Changed my headlight bulb and it shattered inside the headlight. Filling it with broken glass pieces in what is a sealed unit! Cue asking for advice on here and being advised to tape some garden hose to a vac, and it worked! Although was very awkward!

Decided to change the coolant on my Skoda Rapid Coupe, for no particular reason (banghead). There's a bleed point in front of the bulkhead and I forgot to tighten it when I finished. It boiled over the next time I drove it, which blew the head gasket, caused the liners to slip and resulted in it being scrapped. cry Thankfully it was cheap in the first place.

Some minor dents but no splits or worse thankfully.

That ^^^^ made quite a racket as it spilt all over the A30 in Devonears

Someone (not me of course) may or may not have gone airborne in their car and shattered the rear suspension.
