Start: South coast UK.

Car: SLK 280 Sport auto.

Date: Spring/summer.


Where would you go and why?

Eastern Europe somewhere, possibly Romania on the Black Sea Coast as the ultimate destination. Did a similar trip but in a transit van a few years ago.

Going to put that lot onto Google Maps later, it sounds very much along the lines I had in mind. Mountain passes, Italian lakes, historical race tracks and whatnot.

I may be able to save you some time... I've got it down as 12 days (including a day of rest in Monaco), though you can obviously alter it to suit. I'm looking at September next year as highest possibility of being able to do all the high passes.
